LAUSD HAZARD/VULNERABILITY MITIGATION PLAN

The Los Angeles Unified School District's current All-Hazard Mitigation Plan was accepted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in June 2012. The Plan, which is valid for five years, will be updated by the District sometime in advance of its 2017 expiration.

Historically, the District has invited community stakeholders to participate in the mitigation planning process by providing opinions and concerns that may be considered and included in the Plan. LAUSD is interested in the type of natural and/or human-caused hazards that can negatively affect school communities. The District created surveys to collect this information stakeholder feedback.

The surveys were designed to:

  1. Identify hazards that could harm the community.
  2. Confirm knowledge of the LAUSD hazard mitigation policy and public education and prevention activities.
  3. Identify level of implementation of LAUSD hazard mitigation strategies.
To open a previously used survey, click on the text in the table below that describes your selection. You will be redirected to a Non-LAUSD site. Although the survey may be active, the results will not be used at this time since preparation of the 2017 All-Hazard Mitigation Plan has not yet begun. New surveys will be deployed before LAUSD updates the Plan.
