The state of California requires that each project be identified by a project tracking number that will join application data utilized by the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC), the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and the California Department of Education (CDE). The goal is to provide school districts and other interested parties the ability to seamlessly access the status of a specific project during the approval processes of each office. FLGF obtains and distributes project tracking numbers for entities planning school construction projects within the LAUSD boundaries.

To get a PTN, please include in an email with the subject "PTN" the following information for each project requiring a tracking number:

  • School/Project name
  • Brief description of the scope of work (ex. Installation of ADA ramps at buildings XX1234 and YY5678)
  • COLIN Number (for LAUSD-managed projects only)
  • Grade Level of the School (ex: K-5, K-8, 9-12, etc)
  • Whether the project is a modernization or new construction project
  • If the project is a new construction project, indicate whether it is a new school or an addition
  • Indicate if the project will only consist of relocatable units
