Design School Facilities The architectural firm of Widom, Wein, Cohen, O'Leary Terasawa (WWCOT) has been retained to provide architectural-engineering services for the completion of the existing structures and the design of the new facilities. Professional Services Agreement with WWCOT executed in December 2003 The architectural-engineering team will survey and evaluate the existing structure starting January 2004. Schematic design for the new school facilities began in December 2003 Design development begins late March, 2004 Preparation of construction documents starts mid May 2004 Plan approval by the California Division of the State Architect (DSA), Spring, 2005 Construction plans available for bidding upon CEQA, Remedial Action Plan (RAP) and DSA approval Vista Hermosa Park Development The Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA), a joint agency of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, retained the Landscape firm of Mia Lehrer + Associates to provide design services for the new park development project. Design of the park began in September, 2003 Design plans to DSA on February 2004 Construction plans available for bidding upon CEQA, RAP and DSA approval.
